In 2016, LUX* Resorts & Hotels reopened its South Ari Atoll property after a complete refurbishment and rebranding. Divided into two phases, Phase 1 of the project involved revamping the resort’s water villas with private pools while Phase 2 focused on other areas of the island.
Ahead of the resort’s reopening, Octopus Systems was approached to solve major issues in the resort’s infrastructure, which severely needed upgrading to enhance the resort’s operations and the guest experience.
Octopus Systems designed and installed Resort-Wide Networks, guest room Wi-Fi, Hotel Phone System, TV System and CCTV. Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 were completed within a duration of two and a half months.
The client described the process as ‘strictly official’ and the team as ‘highly approachable’. Even after more than six years since the completion of the project, services deployed by Octopus Systems at the resort remain operational and have contributed to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency of the property.
