Located in Gaafu Alif Atoll, Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort is a midscale Accor brand that’s inspired by local experiences. Assisting the resort offer its guests high quality service, Octopus Systems designed and built Resort-Wide Networks, Resort-Wide Wi-Fi, Hotel Phone System, and Hotel TV System.

In 2016, LUX* Resorts & Hotels reopened its South Ari Atoll property after a complete refurbishment and rebranding. Divided into two phases, Phase 1 of the project involved revamping the resort’s water villas with private pools while Phase 2 focused on other areas of the island.

A tropical ode to well-being and absolute comfort, Six Senses Zil Pasyon made its debut in Seychelles in 2016. The property features 32 villas with one, two, three or four bedrooms. Ahead of its opening, Octopus Systems installed Guest Entertainment System that allows the hotel’s guests to view hotel information through the room TV along with entertaining content. This allowed the hotel to promote its activities and gain additional sales.

Opened in Gaafu Alif Atoll in 2018, Pullman is a high-end international brand of the Accor group, mainly targeted at cosmopolitan travelers who have wide connections and enjoy combining work and pleasure. Octopus Systems designed and built Resort-Wide Networks and Wi-Fi for the luxury resort. We also installed a Hotel Phone System that allows the resort to deliver 5-star service for its guests, and a Hotel TV System for 122 spacious and modern villas on land, above or underwater. As part of our security solutions, we installed Network CCTV system, enabling security officers to observe the views from anywhere they are on the island through any device connected to the internet.

An IGH Hotel, InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort made its debut in Raa Atoll in 2019. We believe a well-designed network infrastructure is crucial to enhance the guest experience, increase staff productivity, reduce operating expenses, and deliver new property improvements. With that in mind, ahead of the resort’s opening, Octopus Systems designed and installed a future-proof network infrastructure that allows the resort to easily bring any advancements to property without the need for a new network infrastructure.

Located in South Ari Atoll, Radisson Blu Resort Maldives is the first resort by Radisson Blu, the upper-upscale hotel brand that delivers personalized service in stylish spaces. In 2019, Octopus Systems designed and installed Resort-Wide Networks, Wi-Fi, Hotel Phone System, and Hotel TV System. From security solutions, we designed and installed Panic Alarms, Guard Tour System, Network CCTV systems, and guest room locks for 128 guest villas, as well as Access Control Systems for both front and back-of-house. We also installed Background Music System at the resort’s dining outlets and spa.

Patina Maldives, Fari Islands is the inaugural flagship property from Patina Hotels & Resorts, the latest hospitality concept by Capella Hotel Group. The resort was awarded HICAP Reggie Shiu Development of the Year Award in 2021, which takes into consideration the property’s performance, its quality, ROI, and more. Contributing to the brand’s mission to offer guests sophisticated experiences, we provided extra-low voltage systems, security systems, and audiovisual systems ahead of its opening in 2021. The project was value engineered; delivered to the client at the lowest cost possible. We provided Resort-Wide Networks, Wi-Fi, and Hotel Phone System. As part of our security solutions, we installed Panic Alarms, Guard Tour System, Access Control System for back-of-house, and Network CCTV systems. Ahead of the opening of The Ritz Carlton Maldives in 2021, we provided extra-low voltage systems, security systems, and audiovisual systems. Oaga Art Resort is an all-inclusive 5-star resort in North Male’ Atoll, inspired by art and Maldivian hospitality. Ahead of the resort’s opening in January 2023, Octopus Systems designed and provided a wide range of technology solutions- including Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems, Security Systems, and Guest Entertainment Systems. Assisting the resort provide guests 5-star service, Octopus Systems installed Structured Cabling System, Hotel Phone System, and Resort-Wide Wi-Fi. To make the resort secure for guests and staff, we installed Network CCTV system and Access Control. The keyless entry at the resort’s guest rooms is designed to improve guest experience. Instead of physical keys and cards, the resort can send digital or electronic key cards directly to guests’ mobile phones. This makes it highly convenient for both guests and staff with simplified check-in and check-out processes. For guest entertainment and experience, a Background Music System was installed at the resort’s dining outlets. Furthermore, the guest rooms were installed with a Hotel TV System with customized interface.

Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort, Baa Atoll, is the sixth Minor Hotels property in the Maldives. Ahead of the 5-star resort’s opening in April 2023, Octopus Systems provided a complete technology solution- including Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems, Control Systems, Security Systems, and Guest Entertainment Systems. The project was value engineered, delivered at the lowest possible cost. With fast service and high-speed Wi-Fi being two key expectations by guests staying at a luxury resort, Octopus Systems installed Structured Cabling System, Information and Communication Network, Hotel Phone System, and Resort-Wide Wi-Fi. Moreover, considering the importance of balancing security and guest privacy, we provided security solutions that included Network CCTV, Public Address System, Access Control, Panic Alarms, and Emergency Voice Communication. Creating compelling environments that make memorable stays, a Background Music System was installed at the resort’s dining outlets, reception, fitness center, kids club, and pool-side bar. For operational performance of the resort, we installed Building Management System, which provides the resort a centralized platform for monitoring and controlling various building systems. Furthermore, to assist the resort monitor and manage staff, we installed a Time & Attendance System that helps with tracking and managing employee work hours.
